Cheating the dices?

Again and again players claim in various internet forums about the fact that they cannot win at backgammon internet casinos since a good start. There is a serious doubt about the question, whether the servers are cheating by manipulating the randomgenerator.

Technical this should be easy to to. The question is, why they should do so. Some say there is no reason for doing this because they cash their commission anyway. Others say there could be the wish to close strong players out by giving them desaster-rolls and make weak players thinking they are good players by giving them helpful rolls.

I do not claim the servers are cheating. But I am in doubt. Because of this do lead a statistic since some days. In my case, I can say that miracle-rolls on opponents side happen much more than the deviation from the statistical mediocrity.

See some examples:

The following Sreen-Shot shows that Gnus is cheating dices:

Black, waiting for a shot, could not hit five times. Than White did roll 4+2 and played 4-> out, 2 -> out, instead clearing his 6pt.

6-> 4, 6-> 2 is the the correct moove, - even beginners know that.

Why Gnu did move the wrong way?

The answer to this Question is easy:

Gnu did KNOW, that he would not leave a shot at his 6pt in this game.

Gnu to play 4+2. Gnu to play 4+2.
Black (me) to play 4+2, Gnu's tutors advise Black (me) to play 4+2, Gnu's tutors advise

I have done the masochistic work to create a similar position in my favor. No surprise for me: Gnu's tutor does recommend 6->4, 6->2.

So why did Gnu play 4->out, 2 -> out in the position shown above?

Any further questions about this subject?

Who will win this game? Who will win this game?

Even average players would bet on Brown to win this game, knowing the chances for Red to roll 6+1, 1+6, 6+4 or 4+6 immediately is about 12 per cent.

Every good player knows that this will happen because all possible dices are present all the time. Good players also do know about the fact that 12%-chances do happen much more than the statistic mdediocrity all the time. But there are limits. If my opponent does roll such rolls in about 50% of situations like this I get in doubt.

Still I do not claim the servers are cheating. But to dispel doubts it should be proved by the servers that manipulation of the dices does not happen.

It did happen again in the same game:

What are the chances? What are the chances?

This time, the chances for White to enter from the bar in Brown's 5-pt-board are <11 out from 36> only. White's chance to enter from the bar and hit in the same process is 6+1 or 1+6 = about 6% only.

Again it did happen.

Too good for a re-double? Too good for a re-double?

Gnu-Tutor did claim this position as <too good for a re-double>. Brown did follow this advise and did play (korrect move) 11-->1 to clear the 11pt as long Red remained on the bar.

Red did roll immediately the one-and-only-best-roll 6+5 - the chance this to happen was <2 out from 36>.

One more indicator for the possibillity, Gnu is cheating by manipulation of the dices is the fact, that there is a minimal delay dices arising as you have one men on the bar and the roll does lead to <dancing>.
